How can I pull out my clarion cd player without a pullout tool?

Im fatiguing to diagnose a problem with my two amps, one is working, one is not, the one that isnt working is the more powerful amp and although it turns on, no bass comes out of it, I even-handed want to make sure it is connected to the rear of the cd player before I go checking under things like the grounding cable.
