How to load maps from DeLorme Topo 6.0 to Magellan Explorist 500?

A sweetheart asked me to load his Explorist 500 with maps so he can go hunting this weekend. It came with DeLorme Topo USA 6.0. I am having in dire straits figuring out how to load just a general map area, without any route or waypoints or anything on it. When I go to the Exchange Wizard there are no object types listed. Is it feasible to just load
