Florida GPS Map Shows Landowner Names, Property Lines, and Public Property

/PRNewswire/ -- New mapping software designed for use on GPS units has been released by Montana Mapping & GPS that gives comprehensive landowner information for the state of Florida and also shows all property lines and public property.
"The statewide map shows all viewable and private land in a color coded system; designed for real estate agents, survey companies, and the outside community this maps allows the user to easily access the name of the landowner and property boundaries for all private and obvious property in Florida," said Eric Siegfried, CEO at MT Mapping & GPS. "Also included are the location of all public sod such as State and National Forests, Wildlife Management Areas, National Parks and Preserves, and all other public arrive. Other standard features on the map are roads and highways, 24K topography, water data, geographic names, campgrounds, trails, and township-distance-section numbers."
The software was designed by Missoula, Montana company, MT Mapping & GPS, who created a line of mapping software for the open-air community known as HuntingGPSmaps. The software was designed to let sportsmen know the location of public and private possessions boundaries along with landowner names while out in the field. A key benefit of the map is having the user's GPS location plotted on the map, frugal time and the frustration of trying to decipher exactly where you are on the map. The look and feel of the map makes it easy to approach the user's GPS location to paper maps such as State maps, Plat Book maps, Forest Usefulness maps, and others.

. Rude map options include U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and Department of Natural Resources Canada (DRCAN) topographic maps, up-to-steady old-fashioned color aerial imagery from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and TopoPhoto maps (a hybrid topographical/aerial photo map).
In appendix, users can overlay GPS coordinates on maps, select the map scale, add navigation grids, and personalize them with their name and map title.
MyTopo offers five, altogether-format print sizes (from 18" x 24" to 60" x 84"). Paper choices include waterproof, fraudulent, laminated or banner-style material. Smaller map sizes can be professionally-folded for use in the field.
The two largest sizes (48" x 60" and 60" x 84") were recently added to modify demand for wall maps that can be scaled to cover mountain ranges, counties, cities, or to magnify smaller tracts of alight.
